The Snake carries a lot of weight when it comes to attributes like wisdom, elegance, and transformation—qualities that seem to align with the significant changes we have already witnessed globally this month! The idea of transformation and strategic positioning could resonate with what is happening on a larger scale.

WORTH A MENTION
The New Chair of CIECA 中華民國國際經濟合作協會（簡稱國經協 & Taiwan partner of ATBC）
Chair Joseph Lyu (former Chair, Bank of Taiwan) took over Chair Henry Kao as the new Chair of CIECA on 3rd December 2024.
Chair Kao’s legacy, especially in strengthening Australia-Taiwan relations, have left a lasting impact. He remains the Chair of Emeritus of CIECA. ATBC is forever grateful to have a friend like him over the last decades.
Chair Lyu has extensive experience in government roles like Minister of Finance and academic will bring fresh expertise to the table and enhancing Taiwan’s international relations and trade ties.
His understanding of Australia would be a key asset for further the Australia-Taiwan relations. ATBC look forward to collaborating with him and his team continuously.
Future Program
ATBC will shortly announce a very exiting program for the next four years that will deepen and boarded the capabilities and engagement towards the Australia-Taiwan business and people-to-people links. Watch this space!
